At the heart of Cricklewood Childs Hill, Madina Islamic Centre serves as a spiritual and educational hub for the local Muslim community. Our mission is to nurture faith, provide Islamic education, and foster unity through regular worship, learning, and community engagement.
🕌 Daily Congregational Prayers
We offer the facility of five daily prayers (Salah) in congregation, creating a peaceful and welcoming environment for worshippers. The Jumu’ah (Friday) prayer is conducted with a meaningful khutbah that addresses both spiritual and contemporary issues facing the community.
📖 Qur’an Teaching & Islamic Education
Our centre is dedicated to the teaching of the Holy Qur’an, Tajweed, and essential Islamic knowledge. We provide structured Islamic classes for children and adults, covering subjects such as Fiqh, Aqeedah, Seerah, and more.
📚 Dawah & Community Outreach
Madina Islamic Centre is active in Dawah and outreach programs, inviting people to understand Islam through open lectures, interfaith discussions, and community events. We work to promote understanding, compassion, and dialogue within and beyond the Muslim community.
🎙️ Lectures, Talks & Special Programs
Regular Islamic lectures, seminars, and guest speaker sessions are held to uplift and educate our community on various religious, social, and moral topics. These sessions are open to everyone and aim to strengthen our knowledge and practice of Islam.

Surah At-Tawbah (9:18):
إِنَّمَا يَعْمُرُ مَسَاجِدَ ٱللَّهِ مَنْ آمَنَ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْآخِرِ وَأَقَامَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَآتَى ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَلَمْ يَخْشَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهَ ۖ فَعَسَىٰٓ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ أَن يَكُونُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلْمُهْتَدِينَ
Transliteration:
Innamā yaʿmuru masājidallāhi man āmana billāhi wal-yawmi al-ākhiri wa-aqāmaṣ-ṣalāta wa-ātaz-zakāta walam yakhsha illallāh, faʿasā ulāʾika an yakūnū minal-muhtadīn.
English Translation (Sahih International):
“The mosques of Allah are only to be maintained by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day and establish prayer and give zakah and do not fear except Allah, for it is expected that those will be of the [rightly] guided.”
“The Masjid is the house of every pious person.” — Prophet Muhammad ﷺ

Ramadan in the Qur’an and Sunnah
“The month of ramadan in which was revealed the Quran, a guidance for mankind and clear proofs for guidance and the criterion.” (2:185)
“(Allah said), ‘Every good deed of Adam’s son is for him except fasting; it is for Me. and I shall reward (the fasting person) for it.’ Verily, the smell of the mouth of a fasting person is better to Allah than the smell of musk.” (Hadith, Bukhari)
“The fast and the Qur’an are two intercessors for the servant of Allah on the Day of Resurrection. The fast will say: ‘O Lord, I prevented him from his food and desires during the day. Let me intercede for him.” (Hadith, Ahmad)
“Fasting is a shield with which a servant protects himself from the Fire.” (Hadith, Ahmad)
