إِنَّمَا يَعْمُرُ مَسَاجِدَ ٱللَّهِ مَنْ آمَنَ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْآخِرِ وَأَقَامَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَآتَى
ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَلَمْ يَخْشَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهَ ۖ فَعَسَىٰٓ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ أَن يَكُونُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلْمُهْتَدِينَ
“The mosques of Allah are only to be maintained by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day and establish prayer and give zakah and do not fear except Allah, for it is expected that those will be of the [rightly] guided.”

Abu Hurayrah (may Allāh be pleased with him) reported: Allah’s Messenger (PBUH) as saying: ‘When a man dies, his deeds come to an end, except three; recurring charity, or knowledge (by which people) benefit, or a pious son, who prays for him (for the deceased).’ [Sahih Muslim – Book 13 – Hadith 4005]
